The natural ingredient in Life Source Basics is BetaRight WGP, which is Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) under U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations (21CFR170.30).
Life Source Basics contains the purest food-grade gluco polysaccarride available, which is produced using a proprietary process that separates the lipids, proteins and cell membrane from the yeast cell wall (See Figure 1). Exposing the beta 1,3/1,6 glucan fibrils that provide strength and structure to the yeast cell is necessary to achieve biological activity.
